A diffusion absorber can be installed at the pump inlet, either horizontally or vertically, to help achieve a smooth inlet flow rate. When water flows out of bends or short-bore pipes, a rotational motion can occur. If this rotational motion continues to enter the pump, it can have adverse effects. For example, the force at one point in the suction inlet or impeller eye may differ from the other side, causing an imbalance. If the imbalance in the system is too great, seals or other components may need to be replaced too frequently. The blades in a diffusion absorber prevent this rotation and diffuse the water into the pump. By eliminating turbulence in the medium and protecting the impeller and seals from rapid wear, a diffusion absorber can reduce the distance from the pipe inlet to the pump. Suction diffusers can also filter control loops in the system. The filter screen inside the suction diffuser captures particles in the medium larger than the mesh openings, allowing the remaining liquid to continue flowing through the pipe. Since particles in the medium can damage equipment, suction diffusers are very useful in protecting the system from high maintenance costs.

Features

1. Effectively integrates piping requirements and saves installation space. 2. Internal stainless steel filter screen (perforated mesh), custom specifications available upon request. In addition to enhancing filter strength and porosity, an outer woven filter screen can be added for enhanced filtration during initial trial operation (when impurities are high), then removed and discarded. 3. Diffuser outlet features guide vanes to ensure more stable fluid flow into the pump and extend pump life. 4. Diffuser bottom has a drain port and support frame, with pressure gauge ports at both ends for adding pressure gauges as needed. The pressure difference ΔP between the inlet and outlet allows for timely filter cleaning, effectively monitoring circulation and filtration efficiency. 5. Based on customer needs, our products feature a hinged blind cover for easy filter removal and cleaning, facilitating regular maintenance.
